Rule 38 Transfer
The Department of Posts has officially announced the commencement of the Rule 38 Transfer Cycle under the new IT 2.0 Project. A notification issued by Vinod Kumar (ADG SPN) confirms that the online portal for transfers will open shortly.
⚠️ Key Update: Data is being migrated from the old 1.0 system to the new 2.0 system starting 18th November 2025. Ensure you validate your migrated data.

Below is the official timeline for the transfer activities. Employees requesting transfer must adhere to these dates strictly.

Important Instructions for Employees
According to the circular, employees must pay attention to the following points during the transition to IT 2.0:
- Data Validation: Employees must check their migrated data (requests submitted till 31/08/2025) in the new 2.0 portal.
- Withdrawn Requests: Requests that were withdrawn in the old system will still be shown to the verifying authority for information purposes.
- Technical Issues: Any technical glitch must be routed through your Verifying Authority to the support desk. Do not contact CEPT directly.

The final approved transfer order will be published on 18th December 2025.
2. Can I submit a new request now?
New transfer requests in the APT 2.0 portal will be allowed starting 24th November 2025.
3. What if there is a mistake in my Trial Result?
The Trial Result will be published on 08-12-2025. You have a window from 10th to 11th Dec to request corrections/clarifications through your verifying authority.
